This page has a couple of short demonstration videos..
To download... CWCOM..
https://archive.org/details/cwcom
to find out EVERYTHING (and a few more bits ) about CWCOM..
Then read Page 1 and page 2 of this blog, to get started....
Note.... there is no need for any external programs, OR electronic keyers,
either for keying,
or
producing the morse sound ...
CWCOM is all complete,
and once downloaded
and installed, is "ready to go"
However, it is best to go through all the "settings and configurations" ( only need to do it one time! ) to get the best experience from the program.
Follow the "settings and configurations" on page 3 of this blog....
CWCOM DEMONSTRATION VIDEOS BELOW........
Here
is a short video of me doing a sound test , using my Swedish TBSK ( Torsion Bar Straight Key)
The sound volume on cwcom is set at 50... and the "local" laptop sound volume is set at MAX 100% so that the camera can pick up the sound ! ! !
Normally I have the "local" sound level set at about 60% when I am using cwcom...but that is purely a guideline for you...
First part is a "local demonstration" showing the cwcom main screen, decoding the keying, on my Laptop......
Best to have a pair of phones to listen to the sound.. and also Best to CLICK THE PIC.. to use the full screen, and see the text decoding the sound on screen better..!
Click the square at bottom right to make the video "full screen"
This video. started off "local" then I noticed IK2RMZ on channel and we had a short qso...
Click the square at bottom right to make the video "full screen"
Note....
there is no need for any external programs, either for keying, or
producing the morse sound ... CWCOM is all complete, and once downloaded
and installed, is "ready to go" BUT it is even better if you follow the directions on the Settings and Configurations page ! ! ..
(only need to do them one time ! ) ..
